Finally Finished

Hello Everyone, this is Maker Mouse here.  It took me awhile to appear since I had to finish a quilt for a friend.  Blogging is new to me, so bear with me as I grow and learn the proper ways to blog.  As we continue to build this blog, you will come to see why I am called “maker mouse”.  I am obsessed with all crafts.  I’ve threatened the Mister to bring in a kiln, but he knows it is just an empty threat.

Anyway, more information about the quilt I was making.  This friend was originally from New Mexico and she loves it there.  For her 25th wedding anniversary, she decided she wanted to commemorate their anniversary with a New Mexico themed quilt.


She told me the only requirements on the quilt were the lizard, turtle, bear and kokopelli on it, everything else, I have free range.  After several months of pondering and becoming best friend with my seam ripper, I came up with this.  I did not want too much of the Native American motif, thus, I went with the Southwest colors.
